“Portland Tai Chi Academy is an outstanding martial arts studio with instructors who not only care about your development as a martial artist but also about you as a person. The staff is professional, experienced, skilled, and patient. Age, skill level, and gender do not matter as classes are structured in such a way that beginners to experienced martial artists are challenged. By joining PTCA you will be pushed physically and mentally, but also well supported in your growth. I won't train anywhere else. ”

“I've trained at Portland Tai Chi Academy with Sifu Jeff for about 10 years now. I'm still learning! At this point I am what many would consider a skilled teacher and practitioner of several of the disciplines taught at the academy. I love that I haven't even begun to tap the well of knowledge and that the training is truly a lifetime of development.”
-Russell H.
“This school is an amazingly comfortable place to be. Students are respected, their limitations are honored and the experience is one of persistent good humor and acceptance. The teachers are highly skilled in martial arts and in teaching, as well as being relaxed and patient. All ages and physical capabilities are made welcome and kindness is the rule.”
